5 Reasons you never get lasting results! (Stop expecting overnight results)

In today's society everyone is after instant gratification wether it be with fast food or everyday products off the internet. If we want something we don't want to wait, we want it now. When it comes to our health we have to get rid of this notion of "overnight" results. Sure you may be able to take something to help you lose weight quickly, or even supplements to help you gain muscle/weight. But and it's a big but, are they going to last... unfortunately the answer is probably not! There are a few reasons why the results you are after never come or better yet stay.

1. Not seeking help. If you happen to break a bone chances are you don't google how to fix a broken arm. The same approach should be taken with your fitness and nutrition. Sure you may be able to find a good exercise program or meal plan but do you really know what your doing to get or maintain results?

2. Aiming too high. It is an amazing thing to have big goals, but we have to start somewhere. If you've never ran a day in your life your not going to sign up for the Boston Marathon. Your personal goals should be the same. Start small and get excited about the small victories. Those small victories are building blocks to your overall success.

3. Going at it alone. Have you every tried to play catch with yourself? Sure you can do it, but for how long. Soon it becomes boring, too easy, repetitive, and heck you could even injure yourself. Exercise is no different.

4. Diet. So many find themselves exercising countless hours with nothing to show. Exercising without a proper diet is like drinking water but never eating. Yeah you'll get by for a bit but sooner or later you'll in order to get by you need both. Diet's can be hard so if you can't figure it out see #1. ☝️

5. Never Starting. This one seems like a no brainer, but all too often we haves a goal in mind and never attempt to accomplish it. For some it may be too intimidating, for others it may overwhelming but for everyone it is necessary. There will always be reasons or excuses to not do something but is your life worth the excuse.
